This is a very interesting photo that has much to look at, despite it ‘just’ being mountains and sky. The shading of the mountains as they disappear in to the distance is so interesting and gives a great sense of distance. It fascinates me that the mountains/hills are quite flat across the tops but you have still given a sense of great height for them.

The rays of the sun coming across the sky are beautiful and I like the way you have the sun looking as if is not giving off a lot of heat. It gives a tranquil feel to the photo.

I wonder if the photo could be cropped so that the sun is not directly in the centre, but everything you’d lose is a worthwhile part of the photo so I can understand why you didn’t do that. It’s a very nice picture anyway.
